Our Story
The idea of the Naples Abodes website – one made exclusively for potential buyers of Naples, FL real estate and superior to the real estate industry norm – was sparked by our customers. Time and time again we would hear from buyers we were working with about their poor experiences using the internet to search for Naples homes, find information about specific Naples communities, Naples in general and more. We were told about being inundated with information that they did not need and listing pages that were difficult to navigate. We heard about all the advertising for additional services that sites tried to upsell them on. We learned that questions they submitted online would often go unanswered or the feedback they received was unsatisfactory. Complaints were plentiful.
We had thought about launching a site for sometime, but had little time to do so. Business was strong. We were extremely fortunate to had built a successful real estate business through primarily referrals and repeat customers. Where the average full-time real estate agent sees no more than 30% of the their business through referrals, we were over 80%. And we were not online at all. There were no Facebook posts, Instagram photos, YouTube videos or otherwise. There was no online presence whatsoever.
Fast-forward to March 16, 2020. We have “15 days to slow the spread.” Covid-19 is worldwide and it is picking up steam. That was certainly an interesting time in the world and the world of real estate. There are many stories to tell of what happened with customers and real estate in whole back then. The story of this site, moving from conversations with customers about their online real estate searches to the decision to develop the Naples Abodes site, came to be during this period. Some “nervousness” had set in during the early part of lockdown. There was too much free time on our hands for our comfort. The time was now to start looking into launching a site. We started investigating “the online Naples, FL real estate search.”
The big national sites were our focus in particular, but the much less frequented regional and locally-based websites were also on target. We looked at the sites of brokerages, as well as single agents and real estate teams. We examined what information sites provided and how each site presented it. How easy their sites were to navigate. What features were provided that truly benefited potential buyers looking in Naples, FL and much, much more.
What we found was less than inspiring. There were no sites that had a sole focus of assisting buyers of Naples real estate. And the industry norm website was lackluster to say the least. There appeared to be a true need for a dedicated, exclusive to buyers and exemplary Naples, FL real estate site. The decision to develop this site was made.

I was in account management, brand management, business unit management, licensing, marketing and sales across numerous industries. I worked with/for small businesses and Fortune 100 companies. I led large accounts. I managed teams. I negotiated and managed strategic partnership agreements valued in excess of $3.5B. Then, I made one of the best decisions of my life. I moved to Naples, FL, leaving the rat race behind, and became a licensed real estate agent.
Being a real estate professional is highly meaningful work to me. I am entrusted to play a vitally important role in what is typically one of the largest financial transactions and often life-changing decisions one will make. I take this role very seriously. I designed, developed, modify and maintain this site to support what is typically the first stage for potential Naples homebuyers, the online real estate search. I spend the majority of my time as a buyer’s representative, working directly with parties interested in buying Naples, FL real estate.
While not fully engaged in the practice of real estate you will find me spending time with family, exercising, listening to music or out and about enjoying all that beautiful Naples, FL has on offer.
